About Me

I was born on September 25, 2001, in Kabul, just weeks after the horrific attacks of 9/11. My family came from a low-income background, and my parents worked tirelessly to make a living. After the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, little remained but ruins. Even after their defeat, the country fractured into rival factions fighting for power. The civil war destroyed everything and claimed thousands of civilian lives. Through all of this, my parents and I survived.

When the U.S.-led War on Terror began—an effort aimed at bringing freedom and democracy to Afghans—our country was still far from safe. In Afghanistan, people often resist change, even when it leads in a positive direction. Suicide bombings were a constant threat. I am grateful to the American people and service members who helped stop many terror attacks in Kabul and contributed to rebuilding Afghanistan during those difficult years.

In 2017, with help from a friend, I bought my first guitar. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to practicing and learning through YouTube lessons. The journey has been incredible—from an absolute beginner to a dedicated shredder. Learning guitar is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Now that I’m in America, nothing can stop me from creating more music and pursuing my ambitions. Through my work, I hope to show the world just how devastating war can be—especially to those who have never experienced it
